Boca Catalina
3–15 ft · Calm, shallow and easy for every skill levelBoca Catalina is a small, sheltered cove close to shore. The water is shallow enough that nervous swimmers can stand up if they need a break, and the cove blocks most of the current, so visibility stays good even when other spots are choppy. It's our default stop for families and anyone snorkeling for the first time.
Malmok Beach
5–20 ft · A livelier reef with a bit more currentMalmok sits along a rockier stretch of Aruba's northwest coast and has more structure for fish to hide in than Boca Catalina, which means more to see. It's also a well-known windsurfing and kitesurfing stretch, so the water here has a bit more life to it, both above and below the surface.
SS Antilla Shipwreck
20–60 ft · One of the largest shipwrecks in the CaribbeanThe SS Antilla was a German freighter scuttled by her own crew at the outbreak of World War II rather than let her be seized. She now rests in Aruba's shallow water as one of the largest shipwrecks in the Caribbean, her hull broken into sections that make for dramatic snorkeling and even more dramatic photos.
