SS Antilla Shipwreck

The SS Antilla was a German freighter scuttled by her own crew at the outbreak of World War II rather than let her be seized. She now rests in Aruba's shallow water as one of the largest shipwrecks in the Caribbean, her hull broken into sections that make for dramatic snorkeling and even more dramatic photos.

Because so much of the wreck sits close to the surface, it's snorkel-friendly even though it's deeper than our other two regular stops. Expect schools of fish using the hull for cover, and some of the most dramatic photos of the whole trip.
